We'll start our journey with Dzudzuana Cave. This is the real deal: no fancy lights, railings, or paved paths. Just silence, cool air, and the realization that the world's oldest woven thread was found right here. It feels like you've joined a real archaeological expedition.
Our first stop is a place that looks almost surreal— Katskhi Pillar.
The monastic solitude of the hermit Maxime atop a narrow 40-meter rock. We'll hike up a trail to see the pillar from the best possible vantage point.
*Climbing up to the monk himself is not allowed.
From there, we head to the Sveri adventure camp. We'll grab some tea, gear up, and head out to tackle the rocky via ferrata - we'll climb 50 meters up a secured route with safety gear. On the way, we'll pass through a cave, and at the top, swings over the cliffs await us. Right after the ferrata, we're heading to the waterfall.
In the evening, we'll hang out by the campfire and get some solid rest.
*The campsite has proper showers, so you can freshen up after the via ferrata. There's also a kitchen where you can brew coffee, have some tea, and heat up your food.
