🗓 Day 1: Mud Volcanoes and Vast Plains

08:00 — Set off from Tbilisi
We’ll be heading to southeastern Kakheti, near the border with Azerbaijan.

10:30 — Admission to the National Park in Dedoplistskaro
We’ll complete the necessary paperwork at the park administration (15–20 minutes) and visit the museum.

11:00 — Iori Reservoir and the "Baobabs"
A short stop at a scenic lake featuring unusual trees.

12:30 — Visit Takhti-Tepha Mud Volcanoes
Alien-like terrain: gray-blue clay, bubbling mud, cracked earth. Enjoy the views of the vast plain and keep an eye out for rare birds.

15:00 — Return to Dedoplistskaro
Check into the guesthouse, enjoy dinner, and relax.


🗓 Day 2: Gorges and Panoramas

08:00 — Set off to Vashlovani National Park

10:00 — Visit Pantishara and Bear Gorges
Pantishara – a spacious gorge featuring the park’s symbol: the striking “Alesilebi” rock formations.
Bear Gorge – a narrow canyon where remains of ancient animals have been found.

12:30 — Stop at the First Viewpoint
Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills and open plains.

13:30 — Visit the Alazani River Floodplain
Enjoy the scenic cliffs and unique terrain.

14:30 — Stop at the second viewpoint and descend into the gorge

16:00 — Head back to the city

19:30 — Arrive in Tbilisi
